Description of Course:

The objective of this course is to train real estate salesperson to market new commercial properties which include strata office & retail units and medical suites. This course is intended to give an overview of the fundamentals of the commercial properties market. The course will help participants to understand the unique characteristics and attributes of the different types of commercial properties, the key marketing considerations and the marketing process of new commercial properties. The course also examines the salient features of the Contracts of Sale for new commercial properties

• To understand commercial properties demand drivers, market indicators, location & sub-market and URA Property Data

• To understand land use zoning & allowable use of the different types of commercial properties under URA’s Master Plan 

• To examine the key considerations in marketing different types of new commercial properties and marketing strategy of new commercial projects including medical suites 

• To examine the Contracts for Sale of new commercial properties under Sale of Commercial Properties Act
