Facilities management is required for all types of real estate to upkeep asset value and building image. With the growing number of buildings and ever-changing landscape in Singapore, professional multi-versed facilities managers are highly valuable and sought after.
This is a second level facility management course where learners will learn how to apply the legislations and theoretical frameworks to “on-the-ground” situations using a “hands-on, practicable approach” by analysing actual case studies.
At the end of the course, students will be able to
• Apply The Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA) on strata living
• Identify the different resolutions in the Annual General Meeting
• Understand the guidelines on conducting general meetings
• Learn about the constitution of MCST and The Council
